Part Time - As Needed Graphic Designer Position

Axiom V is looking for a graphic designer to work with our team on specific projects as our business grows. Our most recent team members have used their experience gained at Axiom V and our sister companies to improve their marketability for post graduation positions. There are also internal opportunities for growth as the team member and company grow. Once hired, the applicant will gain experience in the following:
Developing new brands
Logo Development
Editorial composition and review
Managing projects from start to finish
- Including concept, design, copy, working with printers / suppliers
Website design, content and layout
Social Media accounts
Designing packaging and inserts
Brochures and other items the sales team needs
HTML, CSS
In addition there will be additional work for another company owned by one of the founders of Axiom V: BusinessBuff.com which includes the following properties - Business Buff Entrepreneurs podcast, Business Buff Entrepreneurs Youtube tv channel (launching this month) and BuffRecruiter.com. You will gain experience in the following additional areas:
Enhancing raw .mov files into very attractive online videos of interviews from Business Buff Entrepreneurs podcasts.
Shopify webstores
Clammr promotions
Subscription based business models
Creating commercials
Branding and Logo creation
We offer flexibility to work around your school schedule or other jobs and the ability to enhance your resume, as well as the opportunity to grow with the company. There will be set hours agreed upon for scheduling, but we can also be flexible in modifying these hours. This is a really fun environment to work in and will definitely make a difference in your life for your future goals and aspirations.
Axiom V would like to select the candidate in early May and provide hands on training from our current team member before they move to their next opportunity.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Photoshop
Camera and Videography - For posting images of new products and creating videos
Adobe After Effects (Motion Graphics)
Adobe Premier (Video Editing)
Adobe Audition
Ability to draw concepts, import them into digital tools and be able to modify / enhance
Experience managing an e-commerce website product catalogue
Ordering print supplies and working with printers
